groovy gal gulch

yesterday, sinead and i partook in some pre-birthday festivities in a little wierd town between our cities, called Rainbow. we went to a cafe where they serve alligator, and she got me a rad kitty sand picture (and an AMAZING biba card necklace thats in the mail) then took pictures in an outdoor antique store in the same lot. there were a series of houses that were especially creepy and we got hit on by bikers.

i wore an outfit that didn't make a whole lot of sense..i wear this bustier a lot and im sure ill wear it even more in the summer. but yesterday it was 85 degrees out so it basically felt like summer. what a perfect day for a birthday party! that, plus a homemade skirt from ages ago, before i understood how to use gathering or create closures. i also made my headband from some silk flowers, and it's based off of a barbara hulanicki illustration.

also, sinead got me some balloons, which were so fun! i lost one along the way, though.

i'm a little envious of her hair right now! my current cut makes me feel a bit like a pig in a wig.
